For the Community
In collaboration with Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara, this special red carpet premiere brings the community together for a powerful cinematic experience.
The film is inspired by Sikh values including courage, discipline, compassion and Chardi Kala - a legacy the sangat will recognise and take pride in, coming together to celebrate representation and storytelling on the big screen.
community roots
The Ninth Master was built from community foundations. Over four years in the making, the film has grown from grassroots support to national recognition - recently featured on BBC & Sky News - and is now gaining international attention in regions including Canada, Dubai and the USA.
At its heart, the project has always been about uplifting community, honouring heritage and inspiring people to lead with strength and character.
The Director has previously worked with schools across the community and is passionate about supporting youth development through storytelling, discipline and creativity.
the film
The film is inspired by Sikh values including courage, discipline, compassion and Chardi Kala - principles reflected throughout The Ninth Master: Way of a Warrior.
The story continues a global warrior legacy once represented by Spartans, Vikings and Samurai. For the first time, a Sikh warrior is chosen to carry it forward.
His strength is grounded in Sikh identity and values inspired by Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji - standing for truth, protecting others and living fearlessly.
Recognised as Britain’s and the world’s first Sikh superhero feature film in English, the film seeks to inspire the next generation to lead with character and confidence.
